Appellation: The Volnay appellation wines are known to be delicate, sappy and intense in aromas, and is deemed as the “most feminine” Burgundy wine. It is located on a hill, perched on a steep slope, in the middle of the Burgundy region.

Estate: The Bouley vineyard has been in the same family for 5 generations. The current owner, Pierrick, produced his first vintage in 2014 and now handles the vineyard located mainly on Volnay, producing 5 different 1er Crus (“First Growth”). The family practised sustainable farming for more than 20 years.
