Appellation: Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil is an appellation for red wines from the village of Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil in central Loire Valley. The wines are known for being fruity and acidic. Compared to the wine from its neighbour, Bourgueil, the Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil wines are more aromatic and lighter.
