Appellation: Pessac-Leognan, located in the southern part of Bordeaux, was created in 1987 - the newest among the major Bordeaux appellations. Its location inside a city makes it even more unique.

Estate: Passed down for 4 generations, Château Bardins is a small vineyard in the woods. Its beautiful castle was recently renovated to conserve and develop the family property. Stella, Christol and Edith de Sigoyer run the business now.
Grapes: 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 70% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot

Dark purple colour with violet reflections
Wonderful blend of aromas: floral notes like cornflower, vegetable notes like cooked red pepper and fruity notes like blackberry and blackcurrant assemble harmoniously. The grilled vanilla aromas add an extra layer of flavours. Even more aromatic when it’s let to breathe!
Strong attack with tannins and pervasive smokiness. The finish is long with flavours of black fruits and toasted bread. A true delight that can be aged for a long time!
Wine service temperature : 17°. Maturity : ready to drink, up to 5 years cellaring.
