Appellation

Meursault Premier Cru. Meursault is produced in the commune of Meursault, located in the Côte de Beaune subregion of the Burgundy wine region. A third of the production in Meursault has a Premier Cru label.

Estate

Xavier Monnot is the 10th generation owner and winemaker (established in 1723) of a 17-hectare estate, located in Meursault. Xavier is a young Burgundy winemaker, full of talent, producing outstanding wines. All the vines are hand-harvested. Only natural native yeasts are used during fermentation,  respecting the “footprint” of the terroir on the future wine.
