Appellation: Pauillac is one of the most famous appellations in Bordeaux. They produce typical, classic Bordeaux wines - powerful, tannic, elegant and long-lasting.

Estate: Château Croizet Bages was created at the beginning of the 18th century and passed on from one owner to another. In 1855, the estate was classified as a 5eme Grand Cru. Since 1942, the estate has been run by the Quié family.

Grapes: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc

Specifications

Dark red with orange reflections

Intense nose with aromas of dark fruits, cooked pepper, liquorice, black truffle, cuban cigar, fermented prunes and cloves. It is a very complex and pleasant nose which will only improve with time.

A remarkable taste! The attack is supple. The wine is rich, elegant with smoothened tannins.
