Louis Eugene Pannier founded Pannier House in 1899 in Dizy, near Epernay. In 1937, his son bought magnificent medieval quarries in Château-Thierry (Marne Valley). In 1999, an archaeological expedition discovered a fresco painting of the fourteenth century, in the cellar, representing a medieval archer who became the emblem of the brand. Champagne Pannier then adopted the motto of archers: "Ad perfectionem intendere" (ie "Striving for perfection").

Grapes: Blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir
Gold clear, with nice green reflections.
Beautiful aromatic intensity with fruity notes mingling candied citrus, yellow and white fleshed fruits and some nice notes of toast and hazelnuts.
The attack is delicate with fine bubbles, round and fruity. This wine is of exceptional power, structure and complexity. The vintage is remarkable.
Wine service temperature: 10 to 12°. nMaturity: ready to drink, up to 5 years cellaring.
Impressive during aperitif, perfect on smoked salmon, exquisite with prawns on toast. Interesting to try on fried tofu dashi.
