Until 1710, Bastor Lamontagne was owned by the King of France. The prestigious appellation of Sauternes sometimes disconcerted consumers who are worried to find too rich and complex wines. With this in mind, Michel Garat, director of the Chateau has developed this beautiful Caprice. Located near the famous Sauternes Chateau Suduiraut, this Chateau has a beautiful terroir that allows it to produce a remarkable wine.

Grapes: 65% Sémillon and 35% Sauvignon
Sustained and brilliant straw yellow.
The nose opens with aromas of pear, spices like ginger, white flowers and fresh honey. A remarkable and fresh nose which invites you to taste it.
The attack is round and smooth on the palate. The wine is fine, elegant, and supported by a great freshness: an harmonious balance between sweetness and acidity. An incredible length.
